30 by 30

Here is my list of 30 things I want to have done/accomplished by 30:

  1. Explore somewhere in WA I’ve never been before
  2. Do something outside my comfort zone
  3. Go horse riding again
  4. Cook an amazing cake [Logan’s 1st Birthday Cake, Triple-Choc Cheesecake with Salted Peanut Caramel – I didn’t do the top fancy bits & my sister’s wedding cake 2013]
  5. Travel to a new country at least once every two years [Canada 2012, Denmark 2013, Sri Lanka 2013/2014]
  6. Begin a family recipe book
  7. Expand our family
  8. Take a unique family holiday at least once a year [Trick or Treating in Toronto 2012, Denmark 2013]
  9. Create a family tradition [Put up the Christmas Tree December 1st as a family]
  10. Own our own home or be in the process of getting there!
  11. Host a family Christmas
  12. Watch a horse race in real life
  13. Go geocaching
  14. Buy a piece of artwork as a 30th birthday present
  15. Go camping again
  16. Participate in a run [The Color Run 2013]
  17. Complete 30 random acts of kindness
  18. Exercise, more often than not, every week
  19. Repurpose a bit of furniture – turned an old coat stand from the inlaws into a shiny gold one for our dining room
  20. Create a family frame wall
  21. Celebrate birthday weeks
  22. Shop less at the major supermarkets
  23. Explore Perth
  24. Host a 3 course dinner party
  25. Create an outdoor play area
  26. Make a vegetable garden
  27. Complete a week long social media/internet blackout
  28. Become more sustainable/environmentally aware & friendly
  29. Complete 10 creative projects – (1) pompom hanging art for our front door, (2) Jewellery for Christmas gifts, (3) Silhouettes, (4) Logan’s 1st year book, (5) make a terrarium, (6) make kokedama, (7) make a concrete planter
  30. Sew 5 things (1) Dr outfit for Logan, (2) Christmas stocking for Logan

      I wanted to live through Logan today and put him on a pony, he seems to dig horses so YAY! But no pony rides for our tired and cranky little man.

      If we catch up before I turn 30 let’s go together 🙂
